Love Changes Everything:
This song has three verses with the same melody each time. Be careful to keep it moving and not get bogged down. Watch spots where there is no breath. Crescendo when singing "flame" and "same." Also make sure to put the M sound on the end of phrases with flame, same, name, etc. A few seconds (Heidi, Mary, and Linda) will sing "earth and sky" with the altos.
Circle of Life:
Watch the rhythms! Look this up on YouTube to get a good feel for it. (Links below)
Put on a Happy Face:
Another one with tricky timing. Altos have their notes written into their copies. (Thank you, Linda!) Seconds, sing with the altos on measures 25-27, sing an A on measure 29 for two counts, then down to the F, sing a G on "smile" on measures 53-54, sing a B on measure 63 for two counts then down to the G. Front row seconds take lowest note on last few chords. Back row seconds take the middle note. (If you seconds have sung this before and have other notes written on a few measures, ignore those and sing as written.)
